About My Work In Astrology
Astrology has been a huge passion of mine. It's bigger than I thought it would be. I feel so fortunate to have been walking my path with the sky and stars.
I began studying astrology in 1980, after having my first natal star chart calculated on Leap Year Day. I felt there was something auspicious about that because I had not planned for it. It felt like a shift out of what was familiar to me.
When I first saw my star chart, I was awestruck. I felt like I walked into a world full of mystery and unfathomable knowledge. It was like I finally found what I had all along been searching for, but didn't realize it until I stumbled across it. After pouring my heart and mind into learning astrology, I began giving readings in 1984.
Looking back, I was rushing things a bit. I was young and arrogant, convinced that I knew what the Sun, Moon, and planets were all about. I was full of enthusiasm to share what had learned. I really needed to season more with my studies, such that my understanding of star knowledge was more than intellectual.
In 1986 I began writing and submitting articles to the editor of the American Astrology magazine and was delighted he decided to publish them. Since I had just completed a master's program in counseling psychology, my writing focused on the interpretations of famous people in the field of psychology, like Jung, Freud, and Adler.

Additional Background Information
In 1995 I experienced a profound spiritual awakening which altered my awareness in unimaginable ways. The awakening gave rise to tsunami-sized waves of change and expanding consciousness. After this momentous shift, breath-taking realizations kept filling my life and fueling my star knowledge pursuits. I was blown away by the incoming information and images. It took a while to integrate the knowledge, and eventually this lead to giving birth to an astrology for the Aquarian Era.
In the midst of my personal transformation, I submitted articles for The Mountain Astrologer. I wasn't sure if they would be open to what I was writing, but their editors were interested and the articles were published in 2005.
Since then I have continued to cultivate this vibrant approach to astrology. There simply is one dynamic discovery after another and this builds a beautiful body of experiential star knowledge. It is like riding the tsunami into new unknowns where I am shown new things by the Sun, Moon, Planets, and Stars. There's never a dull moment and I can't help but be awed by this phenomena!
Because my understanding of the sky and stars has been growing exponentially, I have chosen to quietly cultivate much of the Aquarian Astrology. I have needed the time to be alone with it, so I could fathom the full extent of it. It's like experiencing the stories of many books in a library. This has required a great deal of personal integration of the incoming knowledge.
In 2012 I decided to begin teaching the Aquarian star knowledge to others who were interested. A small group of students came forward and it has been a stellar journey with them. I like small groups and one-on-one interactions because I then can get to know my students well. I get to see how they learn and grow. I get to see where their hearts are and where they want to go with their lives. This fills me with delight. There is an enormous amount of love, respect, and trust that been built between us. We have a lot of fun together.
The currents of energy that now are surging into Aquarian Astrology are magnificent. The astrological knowledge feels like a nebula bursting forth in the sky. My eyes get real big in observing the wonders. I feel like I have a front row seat to the amazing.
I am very excited to be sharing this energy and inspiration with you today.
